Finally, here we come again with a new call for a Kfe Innovación. Kfe05 is back with some new features as we highlight below:

Kfe05 Motto: Ciudades que se unen – Cities that unite.

Call date: Friday, January 27th 2012

Opening date for venues: Tuesday, November 15^th 2011

New features:

- The motto of this Kfe05 call is not addressed to a common subject but to a common objective. In other words, each venue “coordinator” will choose one subject for debate.

- The main objective of the session will be to reach an agreement among the attendees. That agreement will be a proposal to undertake related to the chosen subject. That proposal will be launched to the other venues.

- Confusing? As an example: City A is interested on the subject ‘mobility in cities’ He or she sets a venue labelled with this subject. 20 people get together to decide a proposal to launch in relation. After the debate, a consensus is reached:  they are willing the rest of venues to support their proposal by marking in a map those black points in their cities about mobility using an application for smartphones.

- As a result, there will be a large list of proposals derived from the debates in each venue. From that point, the post-kfe05 will start. Venues will join depending on interests and created proposals.

Therefore, on this call, organizers will be requested their twitter nick, email and location as before but also a subject matter. It is possible for many venues to work on the same subject. Should you join before, during or after Kfe05.

By doing so, going beyond the debate is intended moving from discussion to action projects achieving civic unions. This is the reason of the chosen general subject: cities that unite.

In every corner in the world, each venue may suggest a specific proposal that carried out at a global scale may open the door to a new way of doing things.

For those unfamiliar with the dynamics of Kfé Innovation, there are a set of  basic points :

- Kfé Innovation is an experimental methodology for debate and citizen action, based on equal conditions and respect for diversity.

- Anyone, anywhere in the world, can join these calls for Kfé Innovación setting a venue in their city or participating as an attendee.

- Participation in both cases is completely free. To set a venue (as a coordinator), a place with WIFI (can be cafeteria or similar) is required, a particular twitter account (no company or institution) as well as gathering, on the date, a maximum of 20 people around a coffee. At that time all sites will be collected, simultaneously, in a great debate of citizenship.

- To participate as an attendee, it is  only needed to register on the related venue website. These venue websites will be made public as new coordinators are signed in.

- Full details of venues and sin in attendees will be displayed in the near future.
